Almost all the energy meridians or their branches pass through the neck; the majority traveling through the face as well. Contacting key points along the meridians releases energy blocked in the muscles, relaxing them and allowing the energy to flow. Jin Shin Do® Basic Class Fee: $750 Includes two handbooks and a wall chart. We will begin our exploration of the Extraordinary Channels by an in-depth experience of the Regulator and the Great Bridge. These energy flows have phenomenal effects on the physical, emotional, and energy bodies. Our own personal work is a key to understanding body energy and emotional process. With the help of breathing and meditation techniques including Pal Dan Gum Taoist Yoga, the Inner Smile, and the Six Healing Sounds meditations, we will acquire skills to use in our own body energy management. Fifty five key acu-points will be taught over the six days. We will expand our knowledge of acupressure with the introduction to the Central Channel, the Belt Vessel and the Penetrating Channel. Understanding of the chakra energies will help you gain insight into process work through studying and experiencing blocks in the chakras. 	The Intermediate class has a reputation for being a safe and nurturing place to explore one's own emotional and physical processes while gaining the counselling skills to aid others in their emotional and physical healing. We use the ancient Taoist Five Element Theory translated through the 12 Organ Meridians. With the addition of 55 acu-points and a deeper understanding of organ meridian energies we can gain deep insight into the balancing of the energy of the body, mind and spirit. Jin Shin Do® Advanced Class Fee: $795 in Vancouver Class Fee: $625 in Victoria & Lasqueti Includes two handbooks. Creating individual releases for each client using assessment skills based on the Five Element Theory and the Yu and Mu point sensitivity is the foundation of this class. By reviewing the Source and Luo points from the Intermediate class we will be able to move energy between the Yin and Yang partners in an element. Moving energy between elements using the Tonification and Sedation points will open a new vista in energy balancing. Assessment of energetic and emotional conditions will focus on point palpations and Five Element relationships. Understanding the emotions of the elements will help in forming the questions to ask. Accessing the deep flow of the Five Elements can encourage the intuition to come forward to aid in emotional exploration.
